Nothing interesting in having a child with seizure! It is more painful when the seizure begins even before the child ever reached any of  the miles stones, not saying it is best to happen after child had made some developments. But it is sad that the medication for seizures has terrible side effects and most neurologists out there care less on what you are going through!

I am optimistic that we have hope for our child, we have tried different medication and not yet seizure free & the most painful aspect are the side effect of the medication. As at the time of this writing April 2008 is the 7th year we have being battling with the disease and we thank God on how far He has helped us by giving us revelations we may never get from the Neurologists.

This site is to share our experience and to narrate where we are and next steps of Atkins seizures we are taking. We encourage all parents to please share their stories and experience taking care of a seizure patient. On this site is a review of a book by Michael Koski  a parent with a success story of atkins diet for seizures, it is a good book to read for everyone going through this and for us all to know to stop poisoning our children with medication!
