As stated I am not a medical personnel nor close to it hence I do not have a definition for seizures than to say I do not pray for it to occur again in Our child's life. 

Through out my life time I never knew what seizures are, all I knew was convulsion due to high temperature from fever in some kids. It was not until the experience with our child that I knew about seizures and realized convulsion I knew about was also called febrile seizures.

For every parent going through this, we quite know that this ailment is a wide one for there are different causes for different patients and some causes of seizures are unknown.
