Parent's experience with seizures : please share your story

Our first child baby daughter was born in the month of April 2001, obviously our joy knew no bounds. However the 2nd week our child was born, our mum who was assisting us with our baby called us to advise we should take our child to ER, honestly speaking I mum concluded my mum is older and it has being decades she took care of a new born baby but she did know what she was saying.! 

I will not be writing a whole on that scenario but we did visit the ER and the Doctors on duty laughed at us saying we were suffering from 1st child syndrome, I believe they said that because we did not go into the children hospital hence no singe test was done or did they care much about why we were there because we all saw our baby girl was acting normal.
